On Monday lunchtime every non-league fan who team was still in the FA Trophy was glued to their computer screen and the FA website to see who their club had drawn in the FA Trophy 2nd round.

32 teams will play on the weekend 14/15th December to move one step closer to Wembley and the FA Trophy final.

For those who haven’t seen the draw on The FA website here it is.

1 Staines Town or Luton Town v Wrexham

2 Whitehawk v Basingstoke Town or Havant & Waterlooville

3 Eastleigh v Gateshead

4 Barnet v Coalville Town or Grimsby Town

5 Barrow v Maidenhead United

6 Gosport Borough v Nuneaton Town

7 Tonbridge Angels or St Albans City v Cambridge United

8 Guiseley v Bradford Park Avenue

9 Aldershot Town or Weston Super Mare v Worcester City or AFC Telford United

10 Tamworth v Boston United

11 North Ferriby United v Woking

12 Whitstable Town v Ebbsfleet United

13 Leek Town v Hungerford Town

14 East Thurrock United or Dover Athletic v Leamington or Northwich Victoria

15 Braintree Town v Lincoln City

16 Chorley v Dartford or Forest Green Rovers

NB St Albans and Havent and Waterlooville have won their replays on Monday night.

The tie of the round should Luton win tonight is game one as they will welcome last seasons winners Wrexham who overcame Gresley from the Northern Premier League at the Weekend.

A tough battle is always expected between these two teams and the draw will have made it even an even bigger reason for Luton to go through.

But forStaines the thought of welcoming the winners of last seasons competition to The Wheatsheaf park will be massive and are no strangers to the big game having been in the first round of the FA Cup this season losing 5-0 to Brentford away.

Leek Town have a great tie in the face of welcoming Hungerford Town. It may not see like a massive tie for the Staffordshire side but it is certainly a winnable one for the Evo-stik Northern Premier League first division south side.

Hungerford do sit 8th in the Southern League but The Blues are at home and having seen off Brackley at home in extra time and Altrincham away.

But I do believe that Lee Casswell and his team can once again upset the odds.

For me personally I like the look of the last draw Chorley v Forest Green Rovers/Dartford.

Simply because as many of you will know I am a Chorley fan.

For a while the Magpies have craved a big team at Victory Park and while it may not be Luton or Wrexham at VP FGR and Dartford will be tough to beat but with the Magpies on a 12 match unbeaten run if they can keep the run up then I would fear for an upset if I was a FGR or Dartford.
